Why BIRDLINER?

Comfortable and safe for your bird: The spacious interior dimensions (35 cm x 50 cm x 35 cm) offer your bird plenty of room and the variable perch position ensures optimal perching.
Stainless steel and stability: High-quality stainless steel wire windows ensure a clear view and good air circulation. The sturdy frame with solid base and stable top allows your bird to sit comfortably on the backpack.
High wearing comfort for you: The high-quality hip belt and chest strap ensure that you can carry the backpack comfortably for a long time.
Different perching positions: Thanks to the two perching positions (10 cm or 20 cm from the ground), you can decide at home at which height your bird feels most comfortable.
Choose from different perches: Choose the best perching experience for your bird from two perches with a diameter of approx. 3.5 – 6 cm or 6 – 10 cm and the seat board (half cork seat branch) with a depth of approx. 8.5 – 15 cm.
Robust and lightweight: The tear-resistant material makes the backpack particularly durable and the low weight of 2,7 kg makes it comfortable to carry.
Practical extras: Two mesh pockets provide space for water bottles or other utensils, while the darkened windows allow your bird to relax. In addition, the bird backpack has 8 stainless steel D-rings, each attached inside in the corners at the top and bottom. Material & Windows

The bird backpack is made from extremely high-quality and robust ripstop material. Ripstop is characterized by a checkerboard-like structure, is particularly light and tear-resistant. The impregnated material is water-repellent, but not 100 percent waterproof.

The BIRDLINER has three windows made of stainless steel wire. These are permeable to both light and air. Give your bird the opportunity to relax when the windows are darkened with a 3D net. This means your bird is not visible from the outside. The front window is also the entrance. It can be fastened open at the top with a stainless steel carabiner. The rear part of the backpack offers your bird a protected area.

Comfort & Stability

The high-quality hip belt and chest strap ensure that you can carry the backpack comfortably for longer periods of time. The ergonomically shaped shoulder straps and the back section are padded with 3D mesh. This, in combination with the hip and chest straps, makes it particularly comfortable to wear. Inspired by the large, professional climbing backpacks, the BIRDLINER has a professional carrying system.

The intelligent frame gives the bird backpack exceptional stability. The robust frame with a solid base and stable top section also allows your bird to sit comfortably on the rucksack.

Why cork?

Just like our BIRDLINER, the matching perches are made from only the best materials. The rough surface of cork offers parrots a good grip and can give them a feeling of security. Our cork comes from Portugal. The perches and perch boards are produced in Germany. All cork perches are thermally treated so they are free from pests and chemicals. Whether screw, washer or nut – all parts are made of high-quality stainless steel. Choose the right cork perch for your bird backpack from a perch with a diameter of approx. 3.5 – 6 cm or a perch with a diameter of approx. 6 – 10 cm and a perch board (half cork perch) with a depth of approx. 8.5 – 15 cm, the best perching experience for your bird.

Cork is a purely natural product, free from harmful substances and therefore safe for parrots. It offers them a varied activity. They can nibble, climb and sharpen their beaks on it. Nibbling on cork supports the natural wear and tear of the beak and promotes beak hygiene for parrots.

What training can look like!

1. get used to the backpack:

Start by placing the backpack in the house. Let your parrot watch the backpack from a distance.
Place treats in the backpack to attract your parrot to the backpack.
As soon as your parrot enters the backpack, praise it and give it more treats.
Repeat these steps until your parrot enters the backpack without fear.

2. get your parrot used to being carried:

Once your parrot enters the backpack, you can try carrying it for short periods of time.
Start with short walks around the house.
Gradually increase the duration and distance of the walks.
Pay attention to your parrot’s body language. If he feels uncomfortable, stop the walk immediately.

Be patient and give your parrot time to get used to the backpack.
Reward your parrot with treats and praise when it makes progress.

With a little patience and time, you can successfully get your parrot used to a bird backpack. So you can discover the world together!

Always protect the holes for the perches or perching boards with the perch and the stainless steel protection.

Important: Do not leave your bird unattended in the bird backpack. Make sure that the bird does not nibble on the backpack, for example on the zipper. Check the backpack for damage to the windows, zipper or other seams before each use. If you notice any damage, you should not use the backpack again until it has been repaired.

Amazing!
Having tried some the UK yours produced in Germany is the most sturdiest.
I have now had time to fully try and test the Birdback and I first travelled locally out and about with my African Grey but more recently I have acquired a Cockatoo which I collected from Dover and travelled all the way back home to Sheffield. Perfect,
One recommendation I could suggest are peck guards for the side windows.

Ay, mi gente! Let me tell you about this amazing bird backpack from TARIGS. I bought it for my little parrot, Paco, and he absolutely loves it! At first, we had to do a little training, but he got the hang of it super quick. Now, he’s just chilling in there like a boss.

The backpack is so comfortable to wear, and Paco seems to really enjoy the cork perch. I can’t wait to get a bigger one for my scarlet macaw. I’m thinking a blue or red one would look super cool. If you’re looking for a way to take your bird on adventures, I highly recommend this backpack!
