Apple Pay offers you the opportunity to pay easily, securely and privately on the Internet.
If you buy something with Safari on the Internet on your iPhone, iPad or Mac, you can use Apple Pay without creating an account or completing a complicated form. And with Touch ID on the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro, you can now pay even faster, easier, and safer than ever with just one touch.
- Pay safe: When you buy something, Apple Pay uses a device-specific number along with a unique transaction code. So your card number is never stored on your device or Apple servers and Apple never shares it with the merchants when paying.
- Your purchases remain a private matter: if you pay with a bank card, Apple Pay does not store any data related to your transaction that is attributable to you.
- Pay with Touch ID and Face ID: With Apple Pay on the iPhone, you use a fingerprint or face to pay. Not only is it easier to remember than a PIN number, it can not be guessed and you can never lose it. And if you lose your iPhone, nobody can use it to pay for it. As a result, Apple Pay meets the strong customer authentication (SCA) requirements set forth in Payment Services Directive (PSD2).
Apple Pay works with the most important bank cards.
