More and more people are therefore opting for vegan products that are not based on animal products. TARIGS now offers an environmentally friendly alternative made from vegan leather, which consists of 50% bio-based raw materials and was manufactured in Germany. SUSTAINABLE PACKAGING
Plastic is in almost every product we come into contact with every day. We can find microplastics in clothing, in personal care products and even in our food. In various ways, huge amounts of plastic end up in our oceans every day. But how is plastic waste recycled? Overall, more than 50 percent of the plastic waste generated is burned. Since this kind of waste treatment is not favorable for the environment, plastic waste should be avoided as much as possible. There is only one solution: plastic-free materials that are also produced in a way that conserves resources and produces as few emissions as possible. We strive to package our products plastic-free, 100 percent recyclable and environmentally friendly. The following applies: as less packaging as possible!
SAVE RESOURCES
From production to use to disposal. Today, we consume far too many resources and produce far too much waste in the process. Every single raw material leaves its ecological footprint. The fewer natural resources we use, the smaller our impact on the environment. Doesn’t sound so hard, does it? We monitor the resource consumption of every single product and thus try to conserve resources or identify optimization potential and use it. But we can save resources not only in production. We strive to package our products as ecologically as possible, to reduce packaging and at the same time not to take away the joy of unpacking. We are constantly optimizing our internal processes so that we can, for example, reduce the consumption of paper, water and electricity. That is why you will not receive a paper invoice from us, if possible.
SEPARATE WASTE
Packaging is sometimes important, but sometimes also superfluous. It is important to us to constantly optimize packaging, reduce it or even avoid it at all. To ensure that all components can be returned to the materials cycle, we already attach importance to 100 percent recyclability. Because one thing is beyond all question: everyone has to recycle better. Including us!
SUPPORT ORGANIZATIONS
As a company we have decided to support different charities every year. But why? Donating doesn’t help anything, does it? It’s just like protecting the environment. Together we can make a difference. Each of us a little bit and hopefully as a company even more. Sustainability is important to us and we take our social responsibility seriously. Organizations are made up of many people with great intentions who make great things happen. Without donations, most aid agencies would not be able to operate. However, their work is indispensable, because we cannot rely on government aid alone.
YOUR CONTRIBUTION
As a company, we are always working to optimize processes and work more sustainably. But we can’t do it without you! So what can you do? Online shopping doesn’t work without shipping. However, you can buy sustainably online. No matter where! Express shipping results in higher CO2 emissions due to delivery vehicles that cannot always wait until they are fully loaded. Returns and exchanges mean double, sometimes even triple, transportation and significantly more CO2 emissions. Individual orders also create a particularly large amount of waste. Make sure you are at home when the package is delivered, give a drop-off okay or ask a neighbor if he can accept the shipment. After all, additional kilometers / miles cause further CO2 emissions and strain the parcel drivers.
