While the high-strength ripstop material is extremely light and water-repellent, three integrated 3D mesh windows ensure maximum air circulation. Unique is the maximum entry comfort: Since the backpack can be opened completely down to the base, your dog can comfortably walk in on their own or be placed inside stress-free. Once positioned, three lockable panoramic windows provide unobstructed views and optimal ventilation—the mesh elements can easily be rolled up and secured if desired. The centerpiece of the design consists of the integrated aluminum profile rails, which efficiently distribute the weight onto the padded hip belt. Crafted from technical ripstop fabric, the reinforced architecture guarantees a stable, secure structure that perfectly supports your natural seating position for your dog. - Full-Access Entry: The front can be fully opened with a zipper – your pet can easily walk in from the front or be placed in from the top.

- Metal Care: To ensure a long lifespan, briefly dry metal parts after contact with moisture to prevent corrosion.

- Available Sizes: Choose between Small, Medium & Large for safe transport up to 16 kg. (Note: For extremely heavy dogs up to 20 kg, we recommend our MountainRock XL).
- Multi-Pet Design: Perfectly suited for small to medium-sized dogs and cats alike.
- AluCore Ergonomics: Integrated aluminum rails and the SafeSeat Base support your pet’s natural posture and transfer weight to your hips.
- Triple Airflow: Three large 3D mesh windows ensure maximum air circulation from all sides. Each window can be closed with a zipper or securely fastened at the top.
- Responsibility in Hot Weather: The PeakStone offers the best possible air circulation thanks to its three windows. However, please always keep a close eye on your pet on warm days. The same mindful rules apply as in everyday life: Ensure sufficient water breaks, avoid the midday sun, and realistically assess your pet’s stamina so that the adventure remains relaxed for everyone.

We use the PeakStone Backpack size Small for our chihuahua who has an 8 inch shoulder height and weighs 8.5 lbs. We mainly use the backpack when we are traveling by bus or train, and it has also been a lifesaver when we go on vacation. Additionally, it comes in handy when we go shopping and dogs are not allowed inside. The best part is that nobody knows there’s a dog inside, which gives us peace of mind. Overall, we are very satisfied with the backpack and would highly recommend it to other small dog owners. The only reason we gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because we wish it had more pockets for storage.

The backpack is sturdy, high quality and great for daily use. My dog likes the bag a lot and my husband loves it too. I like the exterior and the quality given on the zippers, mesh back support and the 3 windows. The reason of why I give 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the quality of Integrated tether strap. I find the adjustable metal piece can be more rounder and the edges aren’t smooth and are not very comfortable if the dog happen to step or lay down on it. The hook of the integrated tether strap is not the best quality where it is not very easy to use. suggestion is to use 360degree rotating hook similar to the one we have on dog leashes. if these improvements on the integrated tether strap are upgraded, I will purchase a new one again immediately! Else overall very very good product.

Perfect size !! My terrier is nearly 15 now and struggling to walk so this is ideal to still be able to get him out and about and he seemed pretty comfortable and happy in it! I recently used the backpack to take my dog on a long ski trip. The bag was so comfortable for me and for my dog. Impossible without this bag.

AIRLINE APPROVED !! I took my dog on a recent trip in this dog rucksack. This rucksack worked well in the slot. My dog is 16 pounds and there was enough room for him. Still could change position though, but definitely not stand up. However, it was very convenient to wear as a backpack and allowed me to deal with the rest of my luggage easily. I could see also using it on a bike which might be fun. It is bigger overall than some of the other types of carriers, but worth it for the convenience and comfort.

Very sturdy backpack. Takes very little space when folded, so it’s very easy to store. The difference to other similar backpacks is that it actually has huge mesh openings on the sides too, which can be opened with a zipper. Hence it feels like this one has way better airflow than other similar pet carrier backpacks. The bottom seems to be sturdy. The laptop bag is very convenient for work. So far I haven’t found anything negative to say about this backpack.

I don’t have a car and have to walk or take the bus to take my cat to the vet. Therefore, I think a backpack is much more comfortable than a carrier.
I am thoroughly delighted with this pet backpack.
My cat weighs 7 kilos, and he still fits in comfortably. There is even room despite all the fur.
The backpack has several openings from the side and from the front, has a few pockets to stow e.g., treats, vaccination card, ID, money. Also, the net window portion is quite high since my cats get good air.
The straps can be adjusted well and by additional safety belts I have a good feeling when transporting my favorite.
The backpack is also very good to carry in terms of weight.
I am totally thrilled with the backpack. Exactly something I was looking for as a pedestrian, and can absolutely recommend it.

Fits my big part Maine-coon boy perfectly. Lots of head room when he’s sitting up, and front-facing window is tall enough he can see out of it easily while sitting lower. The height of the window is also perfect for him to pop his head out without straining too hard either to reach it. Size definitely fits big cats easily!

I have been waiting for the backpack for so long. Now it was finally available again. We are very happy with the model. The backpack is also good for my dachshund. Could even be a little less high, but when we use the backpack as a bed it is perfect. For example, in a restaurant or on the train. We flew with the backpack 2 times. On the outward and return flight, there was no problem and we were the eye-catcher everywhere and were photographed.

Great backpack, well-made and sturdy. Big enough for my sister’s elderly dachshund mix (18 lbs, 8 years old), she can sit easy in and also lie down. She accepted the backpack very quick from the beginning. We can now hike again. When she gets tired, she sits in the backpack and enjoys the view. The backpack has a good chest strap. Delivery was also very fast.

Although our dog has a long fur and it is often wet and muddy here, the backpack looks brand new. Unfortunately, we had lost the crossbar during a hike. The backpack was delivered from Germany to the UK within 3 days. Everything was well packed. The backpack looks really great, is well made, very light and airy and feels very good on the back. In my opinion, this backpack is perfect for warm/hot days. For this reason, I had also ordered it. Unfortunately, we forgot to practice carrying our dog in the backpack and didn’t have a harness with us the first time. Our dog Peggy was a little nervous at first when we took the train. After she walked for a while, we put her in the backpack. It was completely different. She felt very comfortable. Now she loves the backpack and I take her to work in it. Without that she is physically exhausted. She immediately lies down and sleeps.
She is a Cairn Terrier and weighs 21 lbs. I never thought she could lay down either, but somehow she does.

This backpack is great and my cat loves it! He made the cutest face when he realized it was for him. He’s a chunky boy, weighing in at 8lbs and not to mention, he’s big too. We bought it for our cross country trip so it wouldn’t be stuck in a box. We tried it on with him in it and the straps didn’t hurt at all. I really like that it is super ventilated unlike some of these backpacks with the window (greenhouse effect). Customer service was fantastic and it shipped super fast. I was worried that it wouldn’t arrive in time for our departure, but I had no reason to worry. Overall we are super happy with our purchase!

Best dog bag on the market. I have a 13 lbs dachshund, and he’s totally into it. It’s so much easier having his weight distributed on my back using the backpack as opposed to all of his weight on my shoulder if using a shoulder bag. The quality is definitely what one has grown to expect from a dog bag company. The bottom has an internal plastic platform to keep the bottom of the bag flat. The bag is reinforced to prevent sagging.
Of course, all the mesh providing the necessary ventilation.
I have spent seemingly endless hours trying to find the best dog bag for our adventures. This one is it, nothing else even remotely compares. Buy it!
