1. General Information and Mandatory Disclosures

Designation of the Responsible Party

The party responsible for data processing on this website is:

Tarigs UG (haftungsbeschränkt)
Managing Director: Bibiane Buttgereit
Katharinenstraße 24
10711 Berlin
Germany
Email: info@tarigs.com

The responsible party is the natural or legal person who, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data (e.g., names, contact information, etc.).

Revocation of Your Consent to Data Processing

Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke any consent already given at any time. An informal notification by email to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

Right to File a Complaint with the Competent Supervisory Authority

In the event of violations of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of their habitual residence, their place of work, or the place of the alleged violation. In Berlin, this is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.

Right to Data Portability

You have the right to have data that we process automatically based on your consent or in fulfillment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format.

Access, Rectification, and Erasure

Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right to free information about your stored personal data at any time, as well as a right to rectification or erasure of this data.

SSL or TLS Encryption

This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the browser’s address line changing from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

2. Data Collection on Our Website

Server Log Files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

The basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (performance of a contract) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the error-free operation of the website).

3. Contract Fulfillment and Payment Transactions

Data Transfer upon Conclusion of Contract

We transfer personal data to third parties only if this is necessary within the framework of contract processing, for example, to the logistics companies entrusted with the delivery of the goods or the credit institution commissioned with payment processing.

Payment Service Providers (PayPal, Klarna, Sofort)

If you choose one of these payment methods, the data you enter will be transmitted to the respective service provider. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (processing for contract fulfillment) and your consent according to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR during the payment process.

4. Analysis Tools and Advertising

Google Analytics

The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics uses cookies. Use is based on your consent according to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDDG. Consent can be revoked at any time via our cookie banner.

We use IP anonymization, so your IP address is shortened within the EU before being processed further.

Facebook Pixel (Meta Pixel)

We use the Facebook Pixel to measure conversions. The provider is Meta Platforms Ireland Limited. Data processing occurs exclusively on the basis of your express consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR).

5. Plugins and Tools

Google Web Fonts

For the uniform display of fonts, this site uses Web Fonts provided by Google. To increase data protection, these are hosted locally on our servers, so no data is exchanged with Google servers when the font is loaded.

YouTube

Our website uses plugins from the YouTube site operated by Google. We use YouTube in “enhanced data protection mode” to minimize data collection.

6. Shipping Service Providers

For the shipment of your order, we work with the following service providers: DHL, DPD, UPS, GLS, TNT, FedEx, and Packlink. We pass on your name, address, and – if required for shipment notification – your email address to these providers. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR as well as our legitimate interest according to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR to provide you with shipment tracking.
