As every year, Earth Day takes place on April 22 – a global day of action for environmental and climate protection. Under this year’s motto in Germany, “You make the difference”, we are all called upon to take responsibility and make a positive contribution to our world by making conscious decisions.

Each of us can do our bit to protect the environment simply by making small changes in our everyday lives. Don’t leave the water running when brushing your teeth, pull the plug out of the socket, turn off the light as soon as you leave the room or turn down the heating when you have the window open. Whether it’s sorting your garbage or walking to the bakery rather than taking the car. There are many ways to integrate small actions into your everyday life that help to protect the environment. And if everyone does a little something, then together we can achieve a lot.

You can also pay attention to a few things when shopping. Buy less, but more consciously. Or make sure you buy regional and seasonal products, especially if they come from overseas. To transport your shopping, opt for a sustainable alternative to plastic bags, such as our tote bag with a new design!

TARIGS is also doing its bit!

As a company, we see it as our duty to educate people about environmental protection and make our contribution. We focus on sustainability and responsibility. Responsibility for ourselves, our living creatures and our world. But how are we already putting this into practice?

Some of our products are made from OEKO-TEX certified materials. These include our Vegan Leather MountainRock Backpack, the Booster Seat and Snuggle Bag, as well as our organic sweatshirt, organic T-shirt and tote bag. This means that these materials are certified in accordance with the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD and are guaranteed to be free from harmful substances. We also attach great importance to fair conditions in the manufacture of our products. In addition, all backpacks, booster seats, snuggle bags etc. are produced in the European Union to avoid long transportation routes.

When shipping our products, we make sure to use as little packaging as possible, especially to minimize plastic consumption.

We monitor and optimize the use of resources for our products. In addition, we reduce packaging when shipping products and optimize internal processes. For example, we reduce the consumption of water, electricity and paper. For this reason, we do not send out paper invoices. We want to work in a way that conserves resources.

We also support charitable organizations every year and as part of our limited editions.
