In general, our backpacks are designed with adjustable straps to suit most body shapes (for both men and women). However, for optimal comfort on your outings, please keep a few important points in mind:

  • Short to medium torso: Models like the Dachshund Backpack Mini (S) and Midi (M) are particularly well-suited for individuals with a shorter back length. If you are very tall, the hip belt may not sit in the optimal position.
  • Tall stature: If you are quite tall, the PeakStone Backpack or the Dachshund Backpack are generally the better choice for proper weight distribution.
  • Petite stature: Conversely, very large or bulky backpacks such as the MountainRock Backpack XL or the Dachshund Backpack Extra Wide can feel cumbersome for smaller or very slender individuals.

Always choose a backpack size that fits both your anatomy and your dog’s size and weight comfortably.
